According to our pattern, the day began with worship: music led by a team from an Anglican church here in Kigali, morning prayer, and Bible teaching from Colossians by the Most Rev. James Wong, Archbishop of the Province of the Indian Ocean.
Once again, the Very Rev. Paul Donison proclaimed the morning passage from Colossians. His passionate handling of the Scriptures should inspire us all to better demonstrate our love of the Bible in Sunday worship!
At the conclusion of morning worship, we were led in a time of of reflection and repentance by Bishop Peter Jensen (retired Archbishop of Sydney). We are too often like the Colossians, led astray, and must continually follow the words of the prodigal son—”I will arise and go to my father.”
