Deacons and MLA Phase 1 Cohort Day-Ahead Gatherings [2025]

Deacons and participants in our two-year Missional Leadership Alliance Newly Ordained Clergy Cohort will have day-ahead gatherings, one day prior to Spring Clergy Retreat.

Rev. Paul Hassell and Rev. Taylor Ishii will lead the deacons and MLA cohort clergy in a “Diversity and Belonging” workshop. The workshop will address questions like:

• How do we talk about diversity and belonging from a biblical perspective in our congregations?
• How do we do cross-cultural ministry well?
• How can our congregations pursue greater belonging for a greater diversity of people?
