Report Misconduct

The Gulf Atlantic Diocese remains steadfast in our commitment to providing a safe and nurturing environment for all. We have opened an inquiry regarding Frank Gough of Resurrection Anglican Church in Shalimar, FL, following his arrest and the charges of possession of child sexual abuse material against him. Our team includes professionals trained in trauma care and safeguarding, and we are working alongside the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office. If you had any inappropriate interaction with Gough, know of anybody else who has, or are aware of any concerning behavior, we strongly encourage you to consider one or more of these options: 

  • share your story confidentially by filling out this form,
  • make a confidential report by emailing safeguarding@gulfatlanticdiocese.org, and/or
  • speak directly with local law enforcement by calling the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office at 850-651-7410.

1. Report to the Diocese

You may report complaints of clergy misconduct or anything you don't feel comfortable speaking with your congregational leadership about to an external responder using one of the following methods.

2. Report to the State

Anyone who knows of, or has reasonable cause to suspect, a child who has been abused, neglected, or exploited in violation of the law should immediately contact the appropriate state abuse hotline (see below). All reports are confidential and access to these reports is limited by specific criteria described in the appropriate state’s statute(s).
